CalcSteel provides a set of modeling tools accessible from the toolbar. These tools help you manipulate nodes and bars efficiently.

Divide Bar

Select one or more bars and use the Divide tool (D) to split them into equal segments. Intermediate nodes are automatically created at division points.

Move

Select nodes or bars and use the Move tool (M) to reposition them. Type exact coordinates or drag interactively.

Copy

Duplicate selected elements with the Copy tool. Copies maintain all properties including classes, profiles, and loads.

Mirror

Mirror selected elements across an axis. Useful for creating symmetric structures from half-models.

Rotate

Rotate selected elements around a point. Specify the angle in degrees or use interactive rotation.
