EN — Wide Flange (I-beam)
Wide flange beams (W shapes / I-beams) are the most common structural steel profile used in building construction. They are used for beams, columns, and girders in steel-framed buildings and bridges. Designed per AISC 360, Eurocode 3, and NBR 8800.
The UC 356x368x202 steel profile weighs 201.9 kg/m (135.68 lb/ft), has a depth of 374.6 mm (14.75 in), flange width 374.7 mm (14.75 in). Cross-sectional area: 25,523.7 mm². Moment of inertia Ix = 65,773.02 cm⁴, Iy = 23,685.56 cm⁴.
