IS — Wide Flange (I-beam)

Wide flange beams (W shapes / I-beams) are the most common structural steel profile used in building construction. They are used for beams, columns, and girders in steel-framed buildings and bridges. Designed per AISC 360, Eurocode 3, and NBR 8800.

The ISLB 75 steel profile weighs 6.1 kg/m (4.10 lb/ft), has a depth of 75 mm (2.95 in), flange width 50 mm (1.97 in). Cross-sectional area: 740.5 mm². Moment of inertia Ix = 69.82 cm⁴, Iy = 10.44 cm⁴.
