BR — Wide Flange (I-beam)
Wide flange beams (W shapes / I-beams) are the most common structural steel profile used in building construction. They are used for beams, columns, and girders in steel-framed buildings and bridges. Designed per AISC 360, Eurocode 3, and NBR 8800.
The VS 350x26 steel profile weighs 26.4 kg/m (17.74 lb/ft), has a depth of 350 mm (13.78 in), flange width 140 mm (5.51 in). Cross-sectional area: 3,366.7 mm². Moment of inertia Ix = 6,730.47 cm⁴, Iy = 288.42 cm⁴.
