EN — Wide Flange (I-beam)
Wide flange beams (W shapes / I-beams) are the most common structural steel profile used in building construction. They are used for beams, columns, and girders in steel-framed buildings and bridges. Designed per AISC 360, Eurocode 3, and NBR 8800.
The UC 203x203x60 steel profile weighs 60.0 kg/m (40.32 lb/ft), has a depth of 209.6 mm (8.25 in), flange width 205.8 mm (8.10 in). Cross-sectional area: 7,548 mm². Moment of inertia Ix = 6,054.81 cm⁴, Iy = 2,064.13 cm⁴.
