IS — Wide Flange (I-beam)

Wide flange beams (W shapes / I-beams) are the most common structural steel profile used in building construction. They are used for beams, columns, and girders in steel-framed buildings and bridges. Designed per AISC 360, Eurocode 3, and NBR 8800.

The ISLB 200 steel profile weighs 19.8 kg/m (13.31 lb/ft), has a depth of 200 mm (7.87 in), flange width 100 mm (3.94 in). Cross-sectional area: 2,461.2 mm². Moment of inertia Ix = 1,642.79 cm⁴, Iy = 121.91 cm⁴.
